The mission of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is to save lives by achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. At least 85% of all BCRF funds are applied to research grants and awareness programs, clinical and genetic research at leading medical centers, and increased public awareness about good breast health.
Since its founding in 1993, BCRF has raised over $170 million. In addition, the Foundation is continually recognized by independent charity monitoring organizations.
The Foundation has received the highest rating from Charity Navigator, four stars, for five consecutive years, which means BCRF has outperformed over 98.7% of more than 5,000 evaluated charities in efficiently managing its finances.
